Board Games: Cute and Fuzzy Animals
Details
This one's a week early because I'm out of town on the last Saturday.
As requested, the theme for September's games is Cute and Fuzzy Animals. Which are, I note, not necessarily the same thing.
Among the offerings will be . . .
- The Fox Experiment. Inspired by a mid-20th-century Russian study on fox domestication, players start with wild foxes and selectively breed them to become friendlier.
- Here, Kitty Kitty! "I have enough cats," said nobody, ever.
- FORK. A trick-taking card game about food chains.
- Mountain Goats. This mountain ain't big enough for the two (or more) of us . . .
And possibly more, depending on how much I can carry.
This event welcomes both members and non-members of any age, cuteness level, or furriness. Persons under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
