30 Sep -DAY 1: ARRIVE IN ANTANANARIVO
Welcome to Madagascar! Arrive in the bustling capital, Antananarivo. Meet your guide and enjoy a scenic transfer to your central city hotel.
DAY 2: INTO THE WILDS OF ANDASIBE
After breakfast we will journey east to Andasibe through rolling highland landscapes dotted with red-soil houses and lush rainforests. Experience the Peyrieras Nature Farm, a haven of exotic reptiles, butterflies, and lemurs. Conclude your day with a magical night walk to spot nocturnal chameleons and mouse lemurs.
DAY 3: MEET THE LEGENDARY INDRI LEMUR
Today, we explore the Analamazaotra Special Reserve, home to the haunting calls of the Indri Indri, the largest lemur. Dive deeper into Madagascar’s wildlife at Vakona Private Park, where playful lemurs and crocodiles await. Paddle through Lemur Island for close encounters!
DAY 4: SCENIC ROAD TO ANTSIRABE
We begin our adventure on the iconic RN7 road, passing mountains, rice paddies, and charming villages. Stop in Ambatolampy to witness Malagasy craftsmanship at aluminum workshops. Arrive in Antsirabe, a quaint thermal town brimming with colonial charm and scenic crater lakes.
DAY 5: CRATER LAKES AND CULTURE
Today we stroll along Lake Andraikiba and immerse yourself in Antsirabe's rich history and vibrant markets. A perfect blend of serene nature and local traditions.
DAY 6: ARTISAN TREASURES TO RAINFOREST HAVENS
Today we discover Ambositra, the woodcarving capital, and shop for exquisite Malagasy handicrafts. Continue south to Ranomafana, winding through lush rainforests before reaching your hotel.
DAY 7: RANOMAFANA NATIONAL PARK
Today we embark on an wildlife adventure in this world-famous rainforest. Spot rare lemurs like the golden bamboo lemur and marvel at Madagascar’s largest chameleons, the Parson’s chameleons.
DAY 8: THE GATEWAY TO THE SOUTH
Today we journey through Ambalavao’s vibrant markets and stop at Anja Reserve, home to the iconic ring-tailed lemur. Enter the breathtaking Betsileo countryside as granite peaks rise into view.
DAY 9: ISALO NATIONAL PARK’S NATURAL WONDERS
Today we explore the surreal sandstone landscapes of Isalo National Park, dotted with natural pools and unique endemic plants. Hike through tapia forests and relax in the park’s natural swimming pools. Wrap up with an enchanting folklore dance.
DAY 10: FROM MOUNTAINS TO THE SEA
We will travel south today through sapphire mining towns and dry savannahs, arriving at the coastal paradise of Ifaty. En route, marvel at the towering baobabs and vibrant painted tombs of Madagascar’s southern tribes.
DAY 11: BAOBABS AND BIRDS IN RENIALA RESERVE
Explore the Reniala Spiny Forest, a treasure trove of unique baobabs, endemic birds, and reptiles.
DAY 12: LEISURE BY THE SEA
Today is a day to spend at your leisure . Enjoy a relaxing day at Ifaty’s pristine beaches or opt for a pirogue ride to the coral reefs for snorkeling. A birdwatcher’s haven, the spiny forest offers incredible sights for nature enthusiasts.
DAY 13: FAREWELL TO MADAGASCAR
Fly back to Antananarivo for your final evening. Enjoy a farewell dinner and reflect on your unforgettable journey through this island of wonders.
DAY 14: DEPARTURE
Transfer to the airport for your flight home, taking with you memories of Madagascar’s magic.

The price of the above tour is £2099.00 for all bookings made by 1st Feb 2025 (please enquire about a price increase after this date). The price does not include flights from the UK. I will give the go ahead to book flights once we have a minimum of 5 people paid their deposits. The sooner you book, the better deals you will be able to get on flights so it is advised to book early.A non refundable deposit of £350.00 via bank transfer will secure you a place on the trip.
Travel Insurance is mandatory for all trips. Visas are not required for British passport holders for up to 15 days, if you hold an alternative passport please get in touch. Please ensure you have 6 months validity on your passport and at least 2 blank pages.
