About us
A welcoming group for individuals in Ireland who are 30 plus have chosen to be without a partner and children and are looking to build friendships and platonic connections. This is not a space for those who are seeking to change their circumstances (ie, find a romantic partner, or to have a child), but rather for those who wish to embrace their lives as fulfilled individuals who appreciate friendships, enjoyable conversations, learning, adventures, and fun are all apart the joy of being solo & childfree.
What this group is not: Please note, this is not an anti-child or anti-romance group; we all have loved ones who are parents and partners, and we hold them dearly. However, we recognise that, after a certain age, being single and childfree can sometimes feel isolating. This group aims to bring people together to celebrate our independence and shared experiences in a supportive and positive environment. This is not a dating group. This group or for single and child-free people who are embracing this lifestyle.
We have a zero-tolerance policy for anyone using this group inappropriately. Any racism, sexism, classism, homophobia, transphobia, biphobia, fatphobia, ableism, ageism, or discrimination based on immigration status, ethnicity, religion, political, cultural and/or spiritual beliefs, or any other kind of oppressive language, behaviour or other expression, will not be accepted.
What this group is: A place to make friends, build a support network, to make platonic connections, to discuss the challenges of this lifestyle, to support one another and to have fun.
