What we’re about
This group is for introverts like me, who want to support each other like a family, because a real family doesn't exist. We tend to be independent, creative and self-sufficient until it takes an additional hand for heavy lifting and we are not great at asking for help. Yet help is what we need. Together, we can help each other with support, friendship and resources to lighten the load and connect with other like-minded like-capable people, and share celebrations.
Let's check in with each other, share ideas and strategies, and ask and give help as needed and share a bit of laughter along the way.

Thought about writing your story? Get your creative juices going with this online AWA writers workshop with Brenda Johnson, a certified AWA facilitator. The AWA method of writing is about writing to a prompt, sharing what you wrote (if you want) and receiving only positive feedback about what people liked, and what stuck with them from the writing. The workshop is limited to 8 people.
This workshop is part of an AWA fundraiser and is pay what you want, $20, $30 or $40 for this one time workshop. The zoom link will be emailed to you after registration and before the workshop.
