15 Jan- Day 1- Welcome to Manila
On arrival in Manila we will transfer to the hotel and join the guide in the evening and sample some delicious Filipino cuisine.
Day 2-Explore Intramuros
After breakfast we will start our tour of Manila visting historic Intramuros (known as the old Manila) for a day of sightseeing and immersing ourselves in Filipino art, culture, and history. Visiting Fort Santiago, Baroque churches and ancient ruins and learning about the countries diverse heritage. In the evening we will head for dinner.
Day 3: Pagsanjan's majestic waterfalls
After breakfast we will take a day trip to Pagsanjan Falls where you can take a canoe ride and experience the majestic waterfall enroute we will stop in Tagatay for a boat ride around the volcano.
Day 4- Depart for Puerto Princesa, Palawan
After breakfast we will take short flight to Puerto Princesa where we will overnight. We will go on a guided tour of the Puerto Princesa Underground River, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature and in the evening, we will go to Bay Walk and sample some of the local delicacies and watch the sunset over the ocean.
Day 5: Puerto Princesa to El Nido
After breakfast you will have the morning free and in the afternoon, we will set off El Nido for a few nights for some relaxing beach time, enjoying scenic views along the way.
Day 6: Explore El Nido Old Town
Today, we will explore the old town with the guide and learn about the local communities and gain an insight into the local heritage.
Day 7: Island Hopping
Today you will embark on one of the thrilling island-hopping tours to discover El Nido's most iconic destinations, including Big Lagoon, Small Lagoon, Secret Lagoon, and Seven Commandos Beach, each offering its own unique charm and beauty.
Day 8: El Nido free day
Make the most of your last day in El Nido and maybe go snorkelling or a hike and end the day with a breathtaking sunset.
Day 9: Depart for Cebu
Today we will take a flight toto Cebu and will join the guide for a meal evening to sample local cuisine.
Day 10- Explore Cebu
Today we will join the guide to explore the must-see attractions including Magellan's Cross, Fort San Pedro, Cebu Metropolitan Cathedral, and the Taoist Temple.
Day 11: Day trip to Bohol – Chocolate Hills & Tarsier Wildlife Sanctuary
After breakfast we will take a day trip to Bohol visiting the stunning Chocolate Hills that are unique geological formations, covered in lush greenery that turns chocolate brown during the dry season and Tasier Sanctuary to observe these adorable creatures up close and learn about efforts to protect them.
Day 12: Free Day in Cebu
Today you have a free day so the guide can recommend optional activities for the day.
Day 13: Free Day and shopping
Today you will have the day for shopping for souvenirs and we will enjoy a farewell dinner in the evening.
Day 14: Bid a fond farewell to the Philippines
Today we fly back home leaving fond memories of the Philippines behind.
The price of the above tour is £2299.00 for all bookings made by 1st July 2024 (please enquire about a price increase after this date). The price does not include flights from the UK. I will give the go ahead to book flights once we have a minimum of 5 people paid their deposits. The sooner you book, the better deals you will be able to get on flights so it is advised to book early.A non refundable deposit of £250.00 via bank transfer will secure you a place on the trip.
Travel Insurance is mandatory for all trips. Visas are not required for British passport holders, if you hold an alternative passport please get in touch. Please ensure you have 6 months validity on your passport and at least 2 blank pages.
