Walkway Over the Hudson Evening Walk

The Walkway Over the Hudson on a weeknight is VERY enjoyable. It's quiet without the weekend crowds. Let's meet on the HIGHLAND Side by the caboose at 6 and enjoy a nice walk. There's a good size parking lot. Parking fee is $5 for 4 hours and they charge at night too.
**** I picked 6pm because I figure that gives anyone who is working enough time to get to the Walkway. If there's a different preference for start time open to considering since the walkway is open until 8.

TOTALLY OPTIONAL: Afterwards if anyone wants to get something to eat, coffee etc. Gateway Diner is 5 minutes from the walkway and a couple of restaurants in Highland.

West Side General Parking - As of January 1, 2025, the Town of Lloyd charges for parking all lots and marked spaced along Haviland Road. This includes the Rail Trail Caboose Lot and the lower gravel lot. Please follow posted signage in all lots and along the street for information about how to pay for parking
