Freelancing 101: A Hands-On Virtual Assistant Workshop for Women
You know those skills you use every day... managing emails, keeping a calendar straight, organizing files, handling customer questions? Businesses will pay you to do that work from home.
This is a hands-on workshop where you'll set up a real profile on the world's largest freelance hiring platform and learn how to start landing clients as a Virtual Assistant. You'll walk out with a working profile, not just notes.
You'll learn:
How to find and apply for VA jobs, how to write proposals that actually get responses, and what to do in your first week to start building momentum. You'll also get templates, keyword lists, and a cheat sheet to take with you.
This is for you if:
You live in Southern Maryland and you've been thinking about making money from home but don't know where to start. No experience or degree needed. Just bring a laptop and be ready to work.
Taught by Felicia Bowling, a Southern Maryland freelancer who left a 17-year insurance career and built a six-figure VA business. Every single client came from the same platform you'll set up in this workshop.
Bring a laptop (charged) and your phone. We'll be downloading the Upwork app during the workshop and you'll need it for account verificatio
