Starting at the Chew Valley Lake picnic area, we will meet near the Salt & Malt cafe and then take a circular walk around the lake returning here for lunch at 14.30.PACE OF WALK
For those new to the group, please consider the distance we are walking and the pace. We tend to average 3 miles per hour on varied terrain. This is a longer walk which includes one very steep stoney hill and a more challenging descent, so consider using walking poles especially if the ground is wet. With this in mind a greater level of fitness and agility will be required to attend this walk. Feel free to message me directly if you wish to discuss further.

I have booked a table for us to have lunch at The Salt and Malt 2.30pm and as usual if ordering food there is an expectation that we will go for the meal even if the walk is cancelled because of bad weather.
As they have regular no shows we are subject to a £5 per person deposit. This will be reserved against a credit card so no members will need to pay this upfront. However if cancelling with less than 24 hrs notice I will expect reimbursement from you.
The lunch menu

so we can collate the orders and don't have to DM members individually for their choices
Thank you šIf you don't want to book to have lunch together there is a
