About us
A group for anyone who is single and just wants to get out with like minded, friendly people and enjoy the countryside. 😊 Aimed at 30s/40s/50s/60s.
Walks will be varying degrees of difficulty and there will be some easy ones for single parents to bring kids or anyone with disabilities to join. The aim is just to have fun and enjoy the afternoons with no pressure to meet anyone!

If bad weather is forecast, the walk will be cancelled the day before.
If the weather is horrendous on the day it will be cancelled on the morning of the walk, by 8:00 am

Somerton 7.8 walk followed by optional pub lunch

A circular route from Somerton, taking in the scenic Littleton area and the historic Dundon Beacon. It features farmland, quiet lanes, the River Cary, and an ascent to an Iron Age hill fort nature reserve - with a mix of limestone grassland, hazel coppice, ancient oak woodland, and panoramic views across the Somerset.There will be a brief stop halfway round for those wishing to bring a snack.
Please note that this walk is on the Sunday of the May Bank Holiday weekend.

Parking is free on a Sunday at Brunel Car Park, TA11 6LW

Due to some restrictive stiles the walk is only suitable for small/medium sized dogs. Please ensure dogs are kept on a lead at all times to protect ground-nesting birds during the breeding season.
Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed in the restaurant part of the pub.Food
We have booked a table for 20 people (this can be increased if there is the demand) at The White Hart, Somerton. They have requested that we pre-order food although the menu will not be available until 1st May. Therefore, at this point, please say yes with your RSVP if you would like to stay for food and we will upload menu at the beginning of May to take orders.
