Moorlinch 6 mile circular walk followed by optional shared lunch

Details
We will meet at the Ring O Bells pub and drive up to Ed’s field to park.
***UPDATE from Ed …’Moorlynch ramble'.
We begin by heading along the bottom track to the hill with the barrow. From there we head out to the Sedgemoor Drain, where we can take 10 mins at the footbridge. We follow the river around to parchey bridge, this part is a real ramble as nobody has cut it this year but I’ve just walked it so it is passable. Refreshment at bridge then simple walk along grit road to Sutton Mallet and follow old top path back to the field. Entirely flat. 7.5 miles. Trousers for ramble.
We should return to the field by 1pm where we plan to have a shared lunch. If you wish to stay for shared lunch, suggest bringing your own crockery and please add in the comments below what you’re bringing to ensure we get a range of food (e.g. quiche, salad, crisps, grapes, cake etc).
£1 fee is payable on the day and this is to help towards the subscription fee for use of Meet Up App
WEATHER
If bad weather is forecast, the walk will be cancelled the day before.
If the weather is horrendous on the day it will be cancelled on the morning of the walk, by 8:00 am
