Winscombe and Shute Shelve Circular 6 mile walk followed by Christmas Roast

If the walk has to be cancelleded due to bad weather, we will still be having the meal - as the pub have been so accommodating we can’t let them down. An update will be made by 8am in the morning - if this is the case.
Meet at 10:30am at the car park behind Woodborough Inn - BS25 1AE.
This walk takes us up Callow Drive with some amazing viewpoints. There are several fields with sheep in so if bringing dogs, there will be a fair bit of lead walking. Dogs are NOT allowed in the restaurant.
At points there are rougher stoney parts underfoot so appropriate footwear is recommended and, depending on weather, potential muddy parts. A change of footwear for the pub might be beneficial.
We will stop halfway round for a cuppa and to take in the views.
The last part of the walk takes us along the flat of the strawberry line before returning to the pub for meal at 2pm.
