Shepton Beauchamp-Barrington court circular 6 mile inc optional lunch
Details
WALK ROUTE:
Join me on another picturesque walk through South Somerset followed by an optional Sunday lunch carvery.
We start from the quaint village of Shepton Beauchamp, passing the magnificent Barrington court and then on to Burrow hill where we can experience some far reaching views (🌞👍🙏)
We will stop here for a short break before returning to the Duke of York pub at Shepton for lunch at 2PM.
Please arrive at 10.15 for 10.30 getaway from the pub.
The pub has kindly offered to open at 10 am so we can use the toilets or buy drinks.
PARKING:
The pub doesn't have enough parking spaces so they are arranging this for us nearby-details to follow.
FOOD AND DRINK:
As we will be lunching at the pub there will only be a short break at Burrow Hill.
There is a 3 meat carvery with a veg option, for £14.95 and desert is available for around £7.
If you wish you can pre order drinks for our return to the pub-sadly they do not have a drinks list but I will include the photo of the breweries on tap(but beer type may vary)
DOGS:
There are a number of stiles that are impassible for dogs so smaller dogs would need lifting over. And leads required near livestock and areas where requested.
Somerset Singles walking group:
£1 fee is payable on the day and this is to help towards the subscription fee for use of the Meet Up App.
Disclaimer:
