Saturday 6 mile hike - Blagdon Lake followed by an optional lunch
Details
As it is Mothering Sunday, we will be walking Saturday 14th March instead.
Join us for a Blagdon Lake circular walk where we will wander along the shores of the lake, through woodlands and across the meadows; with the possibility of seeing herons, kingfishers and more. Then through Nempnett Thrubwell, over the dam and then up the hill to return to the pub. Please ensure correct footwear as some parts of the pathways will be wet and muddy.
Parking
We will meet at the New Inn and if you are visiting the pub afterwards, you are welcome to park in the car park otherwise please park on side streets. As the car park is not that big, please consider car sharing.
Dogs
Due to some restrictive stiles the walk is only suitable for small/medium sized dogs. Please ensure dogs are kept on lead near livestock.
Pub is dog friendly.
Lunch
We have booked for up to 25 people for lunch at 2pm. If you wish to join, please confirm food and drink order with your RSVP. Link or photos of menu are below.
Only the first 25 walkers wanting lunch will be guaranteed lunch.
