Walk
Ed is leading this walk he has called “from ring o bells to ring o bells and back again'. Starting at Ring O'Bells, Moorlinch - we walk up hill past church to Loxley Wood, skirting along the edge of the wood on a Roman Road, past the false tree then cross A39 at a safe spot. We continue down to edge of Shapwick and then along old road to Ashcott (here there are good views of Mendips). We will stop at the Ashcott Inn for about 45 minutes for refreshments. We then travel back along Pedwell Lane to join footpath behind the church at Greinton - back on lane (half mile) to Ring O'Bells in Moorlynch - where we can stop for another drink and packet of crisps!

Due to some restrictive stiles the walk is only suitable for small/medium sized dogs. Please ensure dogs are kept on a lead at all times to protect ground-nesting birds during the breeding season.
