Leigh Woods 6.5 Miles with optional lunch

🥾 Route

Starting at Holy Trinity Church, our route follows a scenic path around Leigh Woods, offering spectacular views of the Portway and the iconic Clifton Suspension Bridge.
Suitable footwear for muddy conditions are required and walking poles may be beneficial for one steep incline.

🚗 Meeting point and parking

Meeting point is on the green by Holy Trinity Church.
As there is limited parking, please consider car sharing.
Parking is available along Church Rd, Manor Rd and a lay-by on Pill Rd at the junction with Sandy Lane. (https://w3w.co/hurry.shadow.bunks)
It has been requested that we do NOT park in the pub car park.
Arrive at 10:15am for a prompt 10:30am departure.

🥟 Food

We will have a 10 minute stop halfway for a snack & drink.
After the walk, there is the option to stay for food at the George Inn, You MUST indicate in your RSVP whether you are attending along with your food order. Please select from the menu below:

🐕 Dogs are welcome, but please make sure your dog is kept on a lead near livestock and when requested by the leader of the walk.

💷 Fee
£1 fee is payable on the day and this is to help towards the subscription fee for use of the Meet Up App.

🌤️ Weather

If bad weather is forecast, the walk will be cancelled the day before.

If the weather is horrendous on the day it will be cancelled on the morning of the walk, by 8:00 am
