How Static Analysis Really Works - Talk & Social

Details
Join us for an evening of learning and networking at the inaugural Sonar Meetup in San Francisco! Pizza, beer, and wine are on us, so come grab a bite and learn from our speaker, Colin Mueller, as he discusses How Static Code Analysis Really Works.
This talk will examine the core concepts that make Sonar's static code analysis possible. We'll explore fundamental building blocks like lexers, grammars, parsers, and abstract syntax trees. By understanding these elements, you'll gain an appreciation for everything that makes a coding rule possible and insight into why "supporting a new language" isn't as simple as feature requests might suggest.
Whether you're a technologist using Sonar or simply curious about Code Analysis, this meetup is for you! You'll gain an understanding of how Static Code Analysis works and have the opportunity to make some new friends :)
This event will be on Day 0 of GitHub Universe and we have a discount code we can share if you're trying to attend! Please reach out to your meetup host for more information!
Can't wait to see you all there!
