Songwriter's Cafe (& Songwriter's Offstage) Meetup Group

Songwriter's Cafe (& Songwriter's Offstage) is a songwriter Meetup group centered around realizing songwriting aspirations. Relaunching from what was previously simply, Songwriter's Cafe, we are now expanding to include both our usual first Monday of-the-month songwriter critique group events, as well as a mid-month (offstage) events, which will be discussion-only, focused on sharing thoughts and experiences about being a songwriter. Mid-month discussions will include topics as wide as practice & rehearsal matters; gigs and open mics; helpful technologies; songwriting methods, processes and inspirations; barriers and opportunities; etc. Our critique group/song-sharing and feedback sessions will continue on as before--same schedule, same format.

Songwriter's Cafe (& Songwriter's Offstage) will now be a private membership Meetup group and as such will be structured and focused on active, practicing songwriters. While participation isn't expected every month (we all have busy lives after all!), membership over time will be managed to account for positive, occasional participation, at least. This seems a valuable step in our efforts to further build community and maintain a welcoming, respectful virtual space to share our songwriting creativity, experiences, thoughts and insights. Looking forward to meeting up in the months ahead!
