Sunday Hike - Pomo Canyon, Red Hill and Lower Kortum Trail

We will meet at the Shell Beach parking lot on the Sonoma Coast (near Goat Rock). The first leg of the hike will explore the Pomo Canyon Trail and return via Red Hill to the Shell Beach parking lot. This is about 6.75 miles with an 1,800 foot elevation gain.

We will then take the Kortum Trail south to Wright's Beach and return via the beach to the Shell Beach parking lot. This leg is approximately 4 miles and follows the bluffs along the coast.

Our hike will offer a variety of vistas and experiences, from the coastal redwoods to the Pacific Ocean. Our pace will be only as fast as what is comfortable for those in attendance. If you wish to end your hike after the Pomo Canyon / Red Hill segment, you could certainly do so!

Our hike will begin promptly at 10:10 AM.
