You will find us in Surfers Paradise State School's Hall, entry via St Andrew's Avenue, Isle of Capri.

Join the tribe from 9.30am for an hour and a half of hip swinging, shimmy shaking dance fusion moves with your hula and belly dance instructor Samantha A!

A small fee of $5 per person (payable on the day) is kindly requested to help pay for the venue hire.

If you have always been curious to learn belly dance or wanted to dance like a beautiful hula dancer - THIS IS THE CLASS!!

It has been designed as a low impact, cardio workout and can be challenging - your hips will move in all directions, you will work up a sweat but you are also encouraged to go at your own pace.

Step out of your comfort zone and connect with women from all ages and all fitness levels. Join our very friendly, supportive community and discover a new found confidence as well as sharpening your dance like a diva skill!

Lose your inhibitions through the ancient art of belly dance and empower yourself with the beautiful island hula dance!

If you have lost touch with yourself, are flatlining and have run out of purpose, this is the class you are looking for. Re-align your chakras and dance like EVERYONE is watching - surrender to the rhythm and ignite your feminine power through movement!

We swing our hips to island drumbeats & undulate to exotic Arabian music that will transport you to another time & place.

Be warned, the music is loud, Samantha thrives on motivating you to the max and you will leave the class feeling completely different to when you first walked in!!

We finish dancing with a short Kundalini Yoga session and each class will finish with a 10 minute guided meditation.

What you wear is up to you! Come in your comfy gym gear (pants and light top), bring a sarong if you have one, your favourite belly dance gear & a bottle of water to rehydrate. BYO yoga mat too!

Hip scarves available to borrow on the day and are complimentary.

Please park in St Andrew's Avenue and please arrive on time so we can get started promptly.

Class numbers are limited & so is the dance space.

With this in mind, we kindly ask that you make alternative arrangements for children, as there will be no dedicated space for child minding.
