How can anyone guarantee that a relationship will be good for you? You’re right to be skeptical, since the domination culture’s approach to controlling relationships is completely broken. We all want beneficial relationships, but forcing them creates slavery not love. Real natural relationships are the basis of human emotional life satisfaction. Those who can’t respect other people’s choices, who treat human beings as objects to manipulate for personal gain, become sociopathic narcissists who don’t feel or act human. They may think they’re happy and powerful, but they act miserably paranoid and violently weak. It’s shocking how much some people will dehumanize themselves in order to dehumanize others, and their secret is living on false negative belief systems. Domination is not how the Universe works to freely give you all the love you’ll ever want and need.

Understanding real relationships is key. Even modern physics shows there are no solid objects in existence, only relationship interactions between eternal quantum fields that give rise to object experiences. Mystics have long said that reality is a kind of illusion where the subjective experiences may be real but there’s nothing actually “out there”. Consciousness is not to be found in the world, rather the world is to be found in consciousness. Our minds create time and space to organize our life stories. Einstein himself said that time and space are not conditions by which we live, but rather modes by which we think. How I tell my life story reveals my consciousness, and when I change my consciousness I get a different life story. The past doesn’t create the present, nor does the present create the future. The future that we choose creates the present with its own backstory.

Human history is burdened with competing backstories to justify very different present actions. Those who choose a future based on love will see the best past accomplishment of a loving humanity. Those who want enemies to fight will point to long histories of grievances and bad people to eliminate. Our relationships come from how we view everybody else. Therapists always say we’re not responsible for other people’s feelings only our own, even when we feel blamed or blaming for the current mood. Our future is not determined by outside events, but rather how we handle those events. There are ways to self-guarantee that all of our relationships are meaningful and positive, regardless of other people’s choices. And reality is splitting now as the Earth can no longer support such incompatible choices. The future is not about good guys versus the bad guys, since good guy bad guy thinking is what destroys the planet. Spiritually mature people take responsibility for loving everything, so they’re the meek who inherit the Earth.
