We’re all familiar with temporary healing. A specialist makes something feel better, or life gives us a lucky break. Hurray! And then it doesn’t last? Oh no! We can try harder and try to stay positive, or get parental and “beat ourselves up” for failing. Neither works, so what makes a healing permanent? What does it take to receive good energy and keep it, to “leave the matrix” as some would say? Well, the reason folks heal and regress is they don’t change their consciousness with new better belief choices. Or if they do change, then just not enough to tip the scales yet. Real healing requires definitions and expectations to change. Not from other people, just for yourself. Trying to fix the world by changing others is the disempowering path of domination which – if you think about it – implicitly requires that you agree to be powerless so somebody else is the deciding factor that you must try to control. The problem is you will never change anyone else’s mind. You can only change your own mind and see who changes with you. So the good warrior lifestyle is false, anxiety producing and hopeless to make you feel like a loser forever. That’s why so many well-intentioned folks suffer and burn out from trying to make the world a better place, while others give up and lose themselves in anxious addictions and abusive codependent relationships.

To change and heal permanently, you need to do more than just let someone else push you into a temporary high. Real healers know they don’t heal the client, rather they teach the client to heal themselves. Beliefs create reality, so you must change the range of your possibilities for a new better lifestyle. We’re taught that our beliefs are reactions, that reality comes first so then we believe what is true. That is the materialism that keeps people powerless. In fact, experiences reinforce our pre-existing beliefs, which we can change if we dig deep enough.

Every day each of us sorts through piles of beliefs, from true positive expanding beliefs to false negative limiting beliefs. Then what reality does to us is the result of our majority winning beliefs, so it’s a lot like elections in your head that you can keep changing. Don’t let negativity tell you it’s the only choice. Don’t call anything all good or bad, like sunny weather is good and rain is bad. Let there be positive and negative ways to use everything, so you get to apply options in your life. The negative matrix is the one that you want to escape, full of violence and lies for control. But the positive matrix is your own ability to create heaven on Earth for your human self from higher dimensions.

Reality is a waking dream that you have the power to make happy and magical for yourself, letting others join in or leave as they choose. Focus on improving your own lifestyle using positive beliefs from your own higher self. Instead of thinking that you’re stuck with bad people to suffer their choices for you, you can study their illnesses with compassion to learn how to change yourself. When you function in a new better way then your consciousness will naturally perceive the new better world it comes from. Changing your lifestyle is what moves you through the multiverse, by law of attraction and resonance. All possibilities already exist, so you decide which potentials to expand upon and which potentials to shrink. The start of love is knowing that you could hurt someone and you choose not to. You choose to not hurt yourself when you let the Universe give you a new better life.

For this meetup, think about problems you sometimes fix but they keep coming back. Do you feel like giving up, trying harder, getting angry, or blaming someone? How do you handle the emotions that fuel more success or failure? Have you ever changed yourself enough to feel permanent healing? After some check-ins to share, we’ll learn how to change negative beliefs and behaviors to set ourselves free at last. I’ll present a major process of healing from negativity in four stages: 1) leave the old battle, 2) rest and recuperate, 3) learn a new lifestyle, 4) join the positive community. We’ll conclude with a guided meditation to embrace the inherent power of our own consciousness to find and follow our own higher selves to live happy ever after.
