Are you ready to do more than just read a book?

Are you ready to read and then actually IMPLEMENT what you're reading?
Then this Circle is for you!

If you are anything like me - you love reading a good book.
Taking in new ideas and finding new perspectives that light you up is a favourite pastime!

But - again if you are anything like me - all too often you read an amazing book, but don't implement all of the wonderful things the book has to offer.

So let's fix that!!

Join The Embodiment Book Club Circle where you can gather with other women, read an inspiring book and implement the lessons the book has to offer together!

Each week will have:
* Carefully curated questions that will help you look at the book and how it applies to your personal life.
* Personalized 'homework' that you can work on during the week to embody the lessons that are coming up.
* Accountability - you will gently and kindly be held accountable to the changes that you are longing to make.
* A space to uncover what might be sabotaging you from making the changes you long for.
* Have a space for sharing your thoughts and opinions about what you are reading and learning.

All while in the beautiful community of a Sisterhood!

During this Circle, we will be reading the book: The Wisdom of Insecurity: A Message for an Age of Anxiety by Alan Watts

**What if the thing we spend our lives trying to escape — insecurity — is actually pointing us toward a deeper way of living?

In this women’s circle book study, we’ll be moving slowly and thoughtfully through The Wisdom of Insecurity by Alan Watts — a gentle yet profound exploration of anxiety, control, identity, and our relationship with the present moment.

This is not a self-help group and it’s not about “fixing” yourself.
It’s an invitation to soften your grip…
to question the constant need for certainty…
and to explore what becomes possible when we stop trying to secure ourselves against life.

Together, we’ll create a calm, grounded space where curiosity is welcome and nothing needs to be resolved.
In this book study, we will:

  • Explore why insecurity is a natural part of being human
  • Reflect on our relationship with time, control, and anticipation
  • Gently loosen identification with roles, stories, and expectations
  • Practice presence through simple, embodied awareness
  • Share honest, thoughtful conversation in a supportive women’s circle

Each gathering will include:
🌿 grounding and presence practices
📖 reflective discussion (no pressure to “perform” or speak perfectly)
📝 optional journaling and inquiry prompts
💛 spacious time to listen and be listened to

You do not need to have all the answers.
You do not need to be “spiritual” in any particular way.
You do not need to read perfectly or keep up.

This circle is for women who are tired of striving for certainty and ready to explore what it means to live with more trust, aliveness, and honesty.

If you’ve been feeling:
– anxious about the future
– disconnected from the present
– exhausted by self-improvement
– curious about a quieter, deeper wisdom
You are warmly welcome here.
Come exactly as you are.

Leave with a softer relationship to uncertainty — and a deeper connection to yourself.

WHO IS THIS CIRCLE FOR:
This circle is for anyone who identifies as a woman and who wants to connect more with like-minded and like-hearted women.

WHAT TO EXPECT:
A safe, authentic, supportive environment for women to meet without the masks of perfection we normally tend to wear. Everyone will have the opportunity to share about the topic picked for that month. If the group gets too big, we will be breaking up into smaller groups.

PLEASE BRING:
Your copy of the book, pen and paper and a bottle of water.

This circle is a safe and confidential space so I ask that whatever is shared here stays here.

This event is hosted by Meg Heppner
Meg is a Life Coach, Women’s Circle Facilitator and the host of The Art If Being H(YOU)man podcast. She is passionate about walking with people who want more out of life than just the status quo!
She believes that life doesn’t have to work out exactly the way we think it “should” in order to be enjoyed and that people don’t have to be perfect in order to be loved.

She believes that we all have the voice of truth inside of us but sometimes it can be hard to hear.

And most importantly that we must live between the tension of accepting the things we cannot change and taking massive action on the things we can!

Meg creates spaces where women can slow down and process all the things that are influencing and controlling their lives - their everyday thoughts, emotions, and the stories they have been telling themselves.
Spaces where they can look at their inner world, gain valuable insight and then reclaim their personal authority, and make conscious decisions that transform the way they experience their lives!

Through one on one coaching and sacred feminine circles, Meg helps women show up in the world with more love, and less ego, more compassion, and less judgment, more vulnerability, and less shame, more emotional agility and less fear!

Meg lives in BC with her husband of 24 years, their two sons and their little dog Charlie.
