This 4-session therapist-led group is for individuals who struggle with perfectionism and feel constantly pressured to meet impossibly high standards. Perfectionism can bring productivity and drive—but also stress, self-criticism, fear of failure, burnout, and feeling “never enough.” Through guided reflection, group sharing, and psychology-backed approaches, this space helps you understand where your perfectionism comes from, how it affects your life, and how to move toward healthier striving with more compassion, realism, and ease.

### Who is the Group For?

This group is for people who feel stuck in cycles of self-criticism, overachievement, and constant pressure to perform. It’s especially helpful for those struggling with all-or-nothing thinking, guilt when resting, fear of mistakes, burnout, or emotional exhaustion — and who are ready to build balance, self-acceptance, and a kinder relationship with themselves.

### What We’ll Talk About:

  • What Perfectionism Means to You: Exploring personal definitions, origins, and emotional experiences linked to perfectionism.
  • Inner Critic & All-or-Nothing Thinking: Understanding “shoulds,” rigid standards, fear of failure, and harsh self-talk.
  • Impact on Daily Life & Relationships: Reflecting on how perfectionism influences work, relationships, creativity, decision-making, rest, and emotional health.
  • Shame, Anxiety & Self-Worth: Recognizing how performance can become tied to worthiness—and gently unpacking that connection.
  • Healthy Striving vs. Perfectionism: Learning how to aim high while staying grounded, flexible, and kinder to yourself.
  • Building Self-Compassion & Realistic Expectations: Developing gentler inner dialogue, embracing imperfection, and allowing space for growth.

### What to Expect:

The group begins by helping participants identify what perfectionism looks and feels like personally, and where it may have developed. As sessions progress, participants examine inner dialogue, emotional triggers, and the wide-reaching impact perfectionism has on life. The final phase focuses on shifting toward healthier striving—separating self-worth from performance, redefining success realistically, and building self-compassion. You’ll leave with clearer awareness, practical tools, and a more balanced, sustainable way of engaging with work, relationships, and yourself.
