Even before verbal language, humans have used sound and song for healing, communicating and creating community. Bone flutes have been discovered that date back to 45,000 BC; the ancient Greeks used zithers and harps to calm & entertain. While the ancient practitioners may not have languaged the concepts of brain wave entrainment or the parasympathetic nervous system, they knew that Sound, used in deliberate and intentional ways, could calm a person to the point that their innate ability to self-heal activates.
Ceremony
Like shared song & intentional sound, the practice of creating and participating in Ceremony dates back 10's of thousands of years; it is a basic human instinct. We are social creatures; gathering together for moments of silence and reverence is at the very core of being human in relationship to others (both human and other than human). Ceremony reflects our beliefs, hopes, traditions, culture, and spirituality while creating a container for belonging and amplifying our intentions.
Garth humbly offers Sound Ceremony. A modality that combines the two for a deep and meaningful experience. Guided by Instruments from around the world, each person that is present co-creates the special container that we all use as a collective pathway into our deeper selves and our collective healing.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a blanket and an eye mask to make themselves comfortable. A yoga mat and pillow are provided.
Most people will be lying down, but chairs will be available upon request. This portion will be limited to around 18 participants.

Love themed Reiki sessions: Couples, Self, Inward-Focus

February's theme is Bloody Valentines, and who doesn't love love? These 30-minute Reiki sessions are designed with the intention of "love" in mind - getting back to your passions, desires, self-love, or even enhancing your relationship. Come together as a couple to get doubles Reiki, or simply come as an individual to focus on any needs in this area.
No knowledge or experience necessary.

What to expect:

• A brief intention-setting chat (1–2 minutes)
• A 30-minute Reiki session focused on your chosen shadow-work theme
• Quiet time afterward for grounding and integration
• Optional journaling prompts provided to take home

These sessions are a simple, accessible way to reset your energy, release emotional debris, and make room for a clearer, calmer, and rejuvenated version of self.

Join us for a free, in-person Power of Eight Intention Group, a guided group practice based on the work and teachings of Lynne McTaggart and her book, The Power of Eight. McTaggart’s science-based research shows undeniably that “Intention gets supersized in a group and the more you intend for someone else, the more it rebounds back on you.” This is what they call the “mirror effect.”
Our group mirrors the structure and process used in Lynne McTaggart’s Power of Eight groups and Masterclass teachings.
TOGETHER WE WILL:

• Learn and follow the Power of Eight intention process
• Practice focused group intention
• Experience the amplified effect of collective energy
• Cultivate connection, awareness, and trust in the process
HOW IT WORKS
-Each week, we do 2 - 3 intentions that people from our group bring in.

-Whenever we are doing an intention for someone else, we must have their permission.
-Whoever is going on any given week will write out their intention and/or have the group help to clarify the intention.
-We will sit in a circle and may hold hands during the 10-minute intention meditation.
-Afterwards, we will discuss any experiences we had during the intention.
No experience is necessary, just a willingness to show up with an open heart and focused presence.
These sessions will be facilitated by Karin Cross who has taken Lynne McTaggart's "Intention Masterclass" and "Become a Better Healer" and has had years of practice in Power of Eight groups.
