Mixing Basics is a free, hands-on 2-hour workshop that gives you a real introduction to what mixing actually involves. Hosted in our NYC studios, the session focuses on the most important skill a mixing engineer can have: learning to hear a mix critically. You'll sit at industry-standard gear, work through a focused exercise with a professional engineer, and walk out with a clear sense of what mixing is, what it asks of you, and what it takes to get good at it.

​This is built to give you an honest read on whether mixing is a craft you want to pursue further. No experience or prerequisites required. However, RSVP is required.
