Music Business Basics is a free workshop for musicians, producers, and artists who want to understand how the industry works. Hosted in Sound Collective’s New York City studios, this two-hour session focuses on one question: how do artists actually get paid? You’ll learn from a working NYC artist and leave the workshop with an honest look at the industry, a sense of the business landscape and the knowledge of what questions to ask next.
No experience or prerequisites required. However, RSVP is required.
