Saturday SoundWell SoundBath--An Immersive Music Meditation--Bown Crossing!

Details
For the first time ever, The SoundWell Boise Project is bringing its popular Immersive Music Meditation to Southeast Boise and the Martie Brennan Room at the Library at Bown Crossing! This is an excellent opportunity in a lovely setting for those who can not attend our regular weekday events and have been asking us to do a weekend one. Come out and experience Boise's real deal SoundBath!
What is SoundWell Boise's version of a SoundBath? In our unique interpretation, experienced and skillful improvisational musicians weave a multi-texture tapestry of serene sounds on crystal singing bowls, ambient guitar, bronze gongs, tongue drums, koshi chimes, and native-American flutes! Our intent is to immerse you in a sea of healthy vibrations, to help you relax and release stress and tension, and access a higher state of wellness.
Event Details: Lots of carpeted floor space and chairs provided. If you wish to lie down, bring a mat, pillow, blanket or whatever you need to be comfortable. Get your Saturday off to a relaxing noon break! Bring adult friends (not intended for children). This event is free to attend.
The SoundWell Boise Project members are Gordon Rosenberg (crystal bowls, gongs, voice), Christian Gillette (guitar, crystal bowls, gongs), Debby Rosenberg (tongue drums, koshi chimes, rainstick), and Kara Gillette (tongue drums, koshi chimes). We will be joined for this SoundBath by our good friend, Southeast Boise's Nancy Haga, perfomer and teacher of the native-American flute! You don't want to miss this event!
How To Most Benefit From Our SoundBaths: As with most things that are good for you, the adage “the more you practice/the more you benefit” is true for our SoundBaths. Each time you participate in one our events, your body’s receptivity to the sounds will deepen and likely have more beneficial effects for you. There is no “quick fix”; you don’t walk away from your first of our SoundBaths (or any other discipline) having received maximum benefit. If you really want to allow your body to benefit from our positive sounds, you need to return consistently. Otherwise, it’s just a day’s entertainment. We all have spent years holding stress and tension in our bodies, it takes some time and effort to learn how to let it go.
More About Us: Gordon Rosenberg, co-founder of The Soundwell Boise Project, has been learning and playing crystal singing bowls and more for groups throughout the west for 25 years. He relocated to Boise in 2014 with his wife and project co-founder, Debby Rosenberg. They’ve been offering their version of SoundBaths in Boise since then. Christain and Kara Gillette joined us this year. All are skilled and experienced at their craft and dedicated to bringing you the most authentic and effective relaxation experience possible.
River Walk After: Make an afternoon of it! Meet up after for a walk along the Boise River on the Bethine Church River Trail with Ashalome Lynne. Ashalome will be at the Music Meditation prior, so you may connect up with her there or meet outside the main entrance of the Library by 1:10 pm. For more info, see our separate post here for the walk.
