South Asian Socials is a warm, welcoming community for South Asians (and friends!) across the Greater Toronto Area—Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, and beyond. If you’ve been looking for fun, face-to-face ways to meet new people, you’re in the right place.
What we do
Social Mixers & Parties: Low-pressure evenings designed for conversations, games, and good vibes.
Singles Nights & Speed Dating: Structured rounds + icebreakers + optional digital match forms.
Activity Socials: Chai-Samosa hangouts, social runs/walks, themed nights, and seasonal events.
Professional & Creator Mixers: Network with founders, tech folks, artists, and influencers.

Our vibe
Friendly, inclusive, and intentional. We curate icebreakers so it’s easy to start conversations. Many events are alcohol-optional, and we also host sober-friendly gatherings—come as you are.
How events work
RSVP early: Many events have limited spots to keep things intimate.
Gender balance: Some singles events aim for balanced ratios—waitlists often move quickly.
Check details: Each event page lists timing, venue, dress code, and what to bring.
Respect the room: We have a zero-tolerance policy for harassment or disrespect.

To attend, you must meet all of the following:
- Earning at least $75K annually
- Seeking a serious, long-term relationship
- Hold a university or college degree/diploma
- Fluent in English and enjoy engaging in conversations
- Socially confident, with experience in meaningful relationships
### 💫 Event Flow:
🕖 7:00 PM – 7:30 PM: Check-in + Icebreakers
- Arrive, grab your name tag, and ease into the night with light icebreakers to spark conversations. Our hosts will help set the vibe so you’re never left standing alone.
🕢 7:30 PM – 8:30 PM: Speed Dating Rounds
- You'll rotate through a series of 5-minute one-on-one conversations with different attendees. Think of it as dating meets vibes—fast-paced, low-pressure, and fun.
🕣 8:30 PM – 9:00 PM: Open Mixer
- Now that the ice is broken, take your time to reconnect with your favorite matches, meet new people, and vibe freely. Whether you're into deep convos or spontaneous group chats, this is your time.

- You are serious about dating and ready for a long-term relationship.
- You have graduated from a university or college with at least one degree/diploma.
- You are fluent in English and enjoy conversing with like-minded individuals.
- You have 2 or more years of experience in your specific career/field.
- You are truly passionate about your career (not just working a 9-5 you’re stuck in).
- You have an ambitious mindset and want to grow both, independently and with the special someone.
- You started your own business(es) at least 1 year ago.
- You are professionally a high earner ($70,000 or higher).
- You have had meaningful relationships before and are socially confident (if unsure, consider booking a consultation or emailing us!).

- Please support our venue reservation by purchasing a drink—this helps us keep the space reserved just for our group!
- The ticket cost covers your entrance fee, the venue, and event organization/hosting. Eventbrite charges separate fees to use its service.
- There is a limited number of tickets
- We strongly encourage purchasing tickets in advance as we often sell out!
- No Refunds
- A strict dress code is in effect. Wearing hoodies, athletic wear, sportswear, swimwear, sweatsuits, tracksuits, jerseys, flip-flops, or slides is strictly prohibited. Please note that entry will be denied to those not adhering to the dress code.
- There are a limited number of tickets – a total of 50 spots – and we strive for a 50/50 male-to-female attendance ratio.
- You consent to the use of any photographs taken during the evening in our future marketing.
