Happy Hollow Senior Safari

Happy Hollow opens early one Thursday a month all summer with free admission & free parking for people over 50 which happily means all of us! There will be docents to tell us about the animals & we can ride Danny the Dragon without feeling embarrassed! At 10AM the park opens as usal but we are welcome to stay as long as we like. If we hang around until 11 we can again enjoy unusual flavors at Marco Polo ice cream in San Jose (999 Story Rd UNIT 9072, San Jose, CA 95122). They offer many Asian fruit flavors such as durian, lychee, mangosteen, guava, mango, jackfruit etc. I need to try lychee this time.

Be sure to enter the park from Story Road, Not Senter. This is where the free parking will be & the senior resgistration. Go ahead & sign in & we will congregate just inside the park where the schedule of events will be listed.
