What is English country line dancing?
English Country Dance is a form of social folk dance, originating in Renaissance England. It is the precursor of several other folk dances, including contra and square dance. Most commonly, the dances are in long ways sets and progressive. There is a caller reminding you of the next move & live music (this night the band will consist of three instruments).

Can I come without a partner?

YES! Dances have a mix of people who come with partners and those that don’t. Typically, everyone switches partners through the course of the event to meet new people and experience the dance and energies of different people.

Can I do this?

If you can walk and keep time with the music you can do this!
