While the weather forecast is currently showing a 10% chance of rain on Saturday, we will laugh in the face of such a dire forecast and hike in Steven's Creek Park. This is a 6.5 mile, 1100' elevation gain loop trail on Coyote Ridge, Wedding, and Tony Look Trails. We'll hike the exposed portion in the first half and then mostly shaded trails on the way back.

Great views from Maisey's peak, and of Nob Hill (no, not the grocery chain)
We will leave from the Villa Maria parking lot. Unless you have a county pass, turn into the first parking lot on the left and get your permit at the pay station ($6). Then exit this parking lot, turning left back onto the park road. Just before the ranger station that is on the right, turn left and drive uphill to the Villa Maria Parking area, where we will meet up.
There are restrooms at the parking lot.
After braving the storm ;-) let's head over to another location of Holder's Country Inn, at 10088 N. Wolfe Rd. It is just an 11 minute drive away for you law abiding drivers, slightly less for famished, dare devil drivers who are willing to risk incarceration to be first in line to put on the feedbag. Check out their extensive menu.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO MULTIPLY YOUR BILL BY 1.3 (FOR TAX AND TIP) AND REMEMBER TO BRING CASH.

Directions: From Cupertino, take Interstate Highway 280 to Foothill Expressway and head south. Follow Foothill Blvd. south about 2.8 miles to the northern park entrance (Foothill Blvd. changes name to Stevens Canyon Road as it crosses McClellan Road).
The IOPQ for this week is: If you could talk to 20 year old you, what advice would you give you?
ATTENDANCE: If you are signed up for a hike, or on the waitlist, please remove yourself to the "not going " list as soon as you become unsure about attending, so another waitlister can have adequate notice that they are going.

Also, it is not okay to just show up to a hike you are not listed as "going" to. Hikers who violate these policies will have that information noted on their permanent record, and their parents may be notified.

DO NOT ATTEND if you're experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, have a compromised immune system, or if you've been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19.
