The mostly exposed Enid Pearson Arastradero Preserve features open rolling grasslands with a few forested trails, and a great view out over the Bay.
This hike starts at the parking lot for Rossotti's Alpine Inn (Zotts). We'll enter the preserve the back way, and hike through a mixture of grasslands and forest. We'll cross Arastradero Road, pass by the main parking lot and its restrooms, do a small loop over there, and then return to the main part of the preserve.
Planned route (rough): Arastradero Road, John Marthens Lane, Meadowlark, Vista Point, Woodrat, Arastradero Creek, Acorn, Meadowlark, pass the lake, Wild Rye, de Anza, Redtail Loop, Portola Pastures, Meadowlark, Bonus Hill, Ohlone, Bay Laurel, Woodland, and back.

Be sure to agree on which events (lunch & music) you are staying for LOL!

It should be a nice spring day (forecasted high of 64 degrees) for Rossotti's Alpine Inn at 3915 Alpine Road, Portola Valley and their expansive patio and highly recommended Mexican Street Corn and conveniently we will already be parked there! For those wanting to continue the fun, join me for the music of the Cocktail Monkeys at Rock the Dock at 3:30 at the Port of Redwood City.

The IOPQ will be : Is there a particular song which brings back a memory from your past? If so what is the song & what is the memory (if you're willing to share!)
