PLEASE NOTE THE 9:30 AM START TIME, HOPEFULLY LESS TRAFFIC THEN.
As the Wildflower controversy rages on, where do you stand? Love em, hate em, couldn't care less about em? The Serpentine Loop in Edgewood Park is one of the highest rated spring wildflower hikes in the Bay Area. So many flowers you'll be tempted to pick a few, but don't. Unfortunately, Serpentine is only 3.5 miles long, but we will meander thru several other trails in the park to get a decent 7+ mile hike out of it. Only about 1000' elevation gain. The parking is primarily on the side of Canada Rd. No telling how full it might get so smart hikers (you know who you are) will likely want to carpool to help ensure a spot.

No Restroom at the trailhead, but there is one midway thru the hike..
With the weather forecast predicting a perfect Spring Day, you will want to head over to Canyon Inn at 587 Canyon Rd. Redwood City for lunch, (maybe even an Elvis citing) and further discussion about how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful area.
The invasion of privacy question will be "What is one thing in your house that you don't think anyone else has?" ( i.e. a VCR, a butler, gold bullion, a bomb shelter, a dead body, etc.)
ATTENDANCE: If you are signed up for a hike, or on the waitlist, please remove yourself to the "not going " list as soon as you become unsure about attending, so another wait lister can have adequate notice that they are going. Also, it is not okay to just show up to a hike you are not listed as "going" to. Hikers who violate these policies will have that information noted on their permanent record, and their parents may be notified.

DO NOT ATTEND if you're experiencing any cold or flu symptoms, have a compromised immune system, or if you've been exposed to or tested positive for COVID-19.
