We are having our Spring Churrasco/BBQ, Samba and Amizade (Friendship) event on Saturday May 1st starting at 1PM and going on until 10PM+ at a home in North San Jose. As always great live music, wonderful food and drink and friendly and warm people.
As this is a community event, we expect everyone to bring something to share (food and drink) and lend a helping hand (can be as little as ensuring your garbage/recyclables go in the right container) We will be publishing a google spreadsheet to help everyone keep track of what each is bringing and what is needed.
There will be a donation ($15) to attend the event that goes toward essentials (plates, utensils, cups, etc.), costs incurred by hosts, and the musicians. For those of you that have yet to attend one these event, the 45 spots are expected to be completing taken within the first day of being published. After which there is a wait list. Normally, a good number of spaces open up as people’s plan changes. So, if you are on the waitlist, your chances are still good. (Note, your chances improve if are waitlisting just yourself or one other person).
Note that ALL payments will be due 3 days before the event. If we have not received the donation your spot will be given to someone on the waitlist.
We hope to see you all of you there and get a taste of a real Brazilian Churrasco (BBQ), its open arms culture, and get a feel for its “Ginga”. Come join us!!!!
