First Creatives Meeting
Details
Welcome Creators to our first meetup! We will be meeting at The Game Kastle in Santa Clara Thursday the 15th of October.
Game Kastle
1350 Coleman Ave, Santa Clara, CA 95050
Its a good location with lots of room. They have drinks and snacks available to buy. We are looking into options for bringing pizza, so stay tuned.
Since this is a first meeting, I imagine more of a casual hanging out and getting to know people. That said we will plan to do a Paper Prototyping exercise, using index cards, dice, tokens, and pens and paper. We will discuss a single mechanic and work through some ideas about how it might work in practice.
And if you have a game you are making, you are of course welcome to bring laptops, phones, tables or boardgames games for people to check out and play.
Cant wait to meet you all next week.
