Sunday Morning Hike - Rancho Canada Del Oro - Serpentine Loop Trail

Hello dear friends, let's go hiking this Sunday.

Approx. 6.2 miles, 1,154 ft elevation, moderate route. If you are not confident about doing a hike with this elevation and some rocky terrain in under three hours, then you may not be able to finish.

This trail starts from the parking lot off Casa Loma Road and meanders through Rancho Cañada del Oro Open Space Preserve. Visitors will be treated to wonderful scenery and breathtaking views. The trail is somewhat exposed and rocky making for a great workout, with some shaded spots too.

So we will start early 8.30am, best carpool as parking is limited, If car park is full additional parking can be found 1/4 mile up the road.

Parking lot off Casa Loma Road is located at 4289 Casa Loma Rd, Morgan Hill, CA 95037. If the car park is full then overflow parking is available 1/4 mile up the road.

Start time is 8:30 am and we should be done just before 11:30 am.

Caution:
Some narrow, rocky trails.

Take Water, Sun Cream and a shaded hat.
