Hello my dear friends, let's go hiking this Sunday.

Approx. 5.5 miles, 961 ft elevation, moderate route. If you are not confident about doing a hike with this elevation and some rocky terrain in 2 hours 45 minutes, then you may not be able to keep up.

Arrive early or best carpool as parking is limited, If car park is full additional parking can be found on residential Gold Creek Way.

Let's start our hike from the Mockingbird Hill entrance, which has the best facilities of all the park’s entrances.

It's a loop hike that will take us past some mining sites and then back to our starting point on the single-track New Almaden Trail.

Start time is 9:30 and we should be done around 12:15pm.
