Shady: Sanborn County Park - San Andreas Trail to Peterson Memorial Trail

Hello dear friends, let's go hiking.

This is a popular trail that is mostly shaded with beautiful views. The trail is popular among both hikers and trail runners. This trail is very steep, so bring plenty of water and maybe some trekking poles. This is a great workout or training hike.

Lunch in Los Gatos (Italian Brothers) after for anyone who likes to join.

1,230ft Elevation gain, so steep climb.
2h 30m Estimated time to finish.

As always if you are not confident about doing a hike with this elevation in under 2.5 hours, then you may not be able to finish.

This trail starts in the parking lot beside Sequoia/Peterson Grove picnic area. Paid parking so recommend to carpool

A quick heads-up on capacity: park rules limit our group size, so I may not be able to let everyone off the waitlist right away. People who hike regular with the group will get priority and I'll do my very best to add as many people as I can in the days leading up to the hike. Some narrow, rocky trails.
Take water, sunscreen, and a shaded hat.
