Hello, everyone...

Welcome to JP & John's midweek hiking activity group!!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ™

Unfortunately, the Bear Creek is still closed, and we don'tknow when they are going to reopen again.
In the meantime, we are going to Saint Joseph's Hills Preserve in Los Gatos hike for now while we are waiting for Bear Creek to reopen.

It's approximately 2.5 hours of a hike round trip.

Saint Joseph's Hill in Los Gatos is a nice 6-mile loop hike, with about 1000 elevation.

It's mostly shaded until near the top of the hill.
There is a picnic bench at the top of the hill with scenic views and an opportunity to take a group picture of our world-class hikers.

PLEASE don't forget to STOP and wait for other hikers to catch up so they won't get lost. Intersections always give people options to go left or right. We don't want to have anyone left behind, especially first-time hikers.

Bring water and hiking poles if you use them.

There is a public LIBRARY where we can park and we will meet at the parking lot.

The address is
100 Villa Ave, Los Gatos, CA 95030.

There are plenty of street parking spaces around the LIBRERY as well if there is no parking there..

NOTES*****
We sometimes go to restaurants to eat after hiking. Please feel free to join..

Our favorite place is the Mexican restaurant called "Adelita"

PLEASE mention it during the week in the comments section if you plan to go so I won't bring my dog along to hike...

Address:
1896 Curtner Ave, San Jose, CA 95124.

I will NOT be forcing anyone to wear the mask or tell you what to do. Just follow the city guidelines yourself, respect others, and please DON'T complain.

PLEASE try NOT to bring up inflammatory subjects that can easily lead to an argument such as politics, religion, gender, racism, etc...

Also, please be nice and kind and please help welcome new members who join us for the first time to make them feel like one of us.

ENJOY THE HIKE!! ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ‘
