Join us for PechaKucha Night in Providence! PechaKucha PVD brings people together to share ideas, creations, and stories using the PechaKucha format of 20 images that each last 20 seconds. It's kind of like TEDx but smaller and hyper-local. Here's a short YouTube about it. The theme of the talks this month is Out of the Woods and the location is Roger Williams Botanical Center in Roger Williams Park. Get your free ticket here on EventBrite. The meetup group will meet to mingle a little bit at 7:30 and the talks start at 8:20. We’ll all find seats together.

Come out for some great live music and dancing on a Sunday afternoon! Legendary Rhode Island cover band The Senders is playing at the Narragansett Cafe (the Ganny). The band has been together for more than 40 years and is so much fun. Think ZZ Top, Billy Idol, The Cars, Led Zeppelin, and Pink Floyd…Check out their full song list . No cover charge, although the band appreciates tips. Park on the street or small lot across the street from the venue.

Join us for day 1 (Saturday) of the third annual Ragged Island Music Festival! We’ll set up a base camp in the meadow with blankets and chairs and people can come and go as they please.
