Narragansett Cafe, 25 Narragansett Avenue, Jamestown, RI, USCome dance the afternoon away at the Narragansett Cafe (the Ganny) to local cover band Amber Rose and the Renegades. When you leave, it will still be light out! No cover charge, although the band appreciates tips. Parking on street or in small lot across the street. Your host will post a selfie just prior to event start time to help you find the group. Once the music starts, the phone goes away and the focus is on the group and FUN!

NewportFILM "Learning to Fly" Outdoors on Mansion Lawn 8/6
Chateau-sur-mer, 474 Bellevue Avenue, Newport, RI, USJoin us to picnic and watch a documentary outdoors on the lawn at Newport mansion Chateau-sur-Mer. The movie is Learning to Fly, which follows former competitive runner turned photographer Aisha McAdams as she embarks on a journey to document the triumphs and struggles of some of the biggest names in ultra running. The movie starts at 8:10pm. We will meet at 7pm to enjoy food trucks or a picnic and chatter a bit before the movie starts.
Bring lawn or beach chair, blanket, picnic or food truck money, warm clothes, and bug spray (just in case). By 7pm, your meetup host will post a selfie and photo of our group location. She will check messages until the movie starts. After that the phone goes away and the focus is on the group and FUN! In the event of rain, the movie will be moved indoors, (details on the NewportFILM website) but this meetup will be canceled.

Pete Francis Live @ Ragged Island 8/12
Ragged Island Brewery, 54 Bristol ferry road ,, Portsmouth, RI, USLive music, food trucks, and beer on the lawn on a warm summer evening. What's not to love? Pete Francis is playing as part of the Free Summer Concert Series at Ragged Island Brewing in Portsmouth, RI. Pete is a musician, writer, poet, singer-songwriter, and founding member of the band Dispatch. Ragged Island is a magical farm brewery.
We recommend getting there by 5:30 or so if you can. Music is from 6:00-8:30. Bring lawn or beach chair or a blanket. Dogs okay. Outside food okay; no outside beverages. Prior to meetup start time, your host will post a selfie and photo of our location to help you find the group. Once the music starts, the phone goes away and the focus is on the group and FUN! Rain cancels as this is an outdoor event.
