Passover Seder Plate

“You shall not oppress a stranger... for you also were strangers in the land of Egypt.” —Exodus 23:9
We welcome you to celebrate Passover/Pesach with the old and new themes of liberation and welcoming the stranger. Learn more about Beth Ami's ongoing team support of a newly-arrived Afghan family. We've had trials and tribulations, successes and progress, and now look forward to new initiatives with strangers who have become friends.
We will provide a Seder plate of ritual foods, a Humanistic Haggadah, songs and the opportunity to "do Jewish" in a meaningful way.
Enjoy the ritual and contemporary content. Dinner is not included, but socializing after the Seder is encouraged in this beautiful park setting.
Beth Ami is the only Humanistic Jewish congregation in Colorado and is a proud affiliate of the Society for Humanistic Judaism. We celebrate Jewish holidays, learning and life cycle events through the secular lens of history, culture, and reason. We believe in the human capacity to create a better world without supernatural intervention.
Beth Ami is a welcoming community where we connect to Jewish past, celebrate Jewish present and link to Jewish future through a humanistic philosophy. We encourage anyone interested in learning about Humanistic Judaism to attend this and all our events.
The event is free, but donations are appreciated. RSVP by April 4.
