Welcome to South Florida Travel & Photography Meetup Group.
The purpose of this group is to get people (mostly single) men & woman together that have a common interest in both photography and travel. We will focus on the following:
Day trips
Weekend Trips
Cross Country Road Trips
and some International Travel
Camera Gear/Computers/Software that are used for photography
Activities may include just about anything we all desire to do such as canoeing, kayaking, charter small boats to take us places inaccessible by car or simply just getting together for monthly meetings to discuss photography along with computers and software used for photography & travel related topics.
This group would be best for people who are into photography as we will typically plan photography related outings with the idea of not only getting out there and doing things but also focusing on the photography aspect so we may go to places and stay for longer periods of time to say, photograph a sunrise, sunset, stars, wildlife, historic places, people, landscapes etc. I've been to 41 states to photograph some amazing sites and the one thing I have found is that it's a lot more fun when you are with at least a few other people who share the same interest and can share in some of the travel related expenses when you are in a group of 2 or more people.
Activities will be focused around doing things on a budget whenever possible. We will discuss as a group different activities that we would like to do and activities will take place on weekends, evenings or long holiday weekends.
This group is primarily for single people 35 to mid 50's however the group is open to all people at least 25 years of age.
