About us
This is a meetup group for WOMEN ONLY living in the South Hills area, or anywhere in Pittsburgh. We are young, or older - single, married, divorced or widowed. The point is to get together and have a great time. This is actually a book club, despite the name. We will meet at a South Hills restaurant, (generally the third Saturday of the month) to discuss that month's book. Genre's will vary. We will be doing other things throughout the year, such as a summer picnic, etc. If this sounds like something you would enjoy, please consider joining --- but women only. Thank you.

Oct's book is 'The Mountain Between us' by Charles Martin
Mitchell's Fish Market, 1500 Washington Rd, Pittsburgh, PA 15228, USA, Pittsburgh, PA, USAfter their flight is canceled due to stormy weather, neurosurgeon Dr. Ben Bass and photojournalist Alex Martin hire private pilot Walter to get them from Idaho to Denver for connecting flights to Alex's wedding in New York and Ben's emergency surgery appointment in Baltimore. Walter, who has not filed a flight plan, suffers a fatal stroke mid-flight, and the plane crashes on a mountaintop in the High Uintas Wilderness. Ben, Alex, and Walter's Labrador Retriever survive the crash but Alex has injured her leg quite badly. Ben attends to her cuts and injured knee, and buries the pilot while she is unconscious.
