Walk the South Prairie section of the Foothills Trail 6K/10K

We will meet and register at the South Prairie Foothills trailhead. There are two loops. The 6K loop heads west on the Foothills Trail and returns while the 5K loop goes east from the trailhead and returns. By walking both loops, you will walk 11K. It is rated 1A for mostly a flat route with even footing.
This walk qualifies for the AVA Special Program of walking on Rails-to-Trails routes. Parking is limited so you may want to carpool or park over near the fire station 1 block beyond the trailhead.
Everyone must register before the walk. IVV participants will pay $3.00 and other participants have a suggested donation of $3.00. Donations to help pay for meetup costs and walk box information are always welcome.
