Dupont Sequalitchew Trail 5/10k Walk

Details
The Sequalitchew Creek trail down to Puget Sound and remnants of the DuPont Powder works dock will be the first part of the route. This is a great trail -- very quiet and peaceful. It follows the gravel/paved trail through woods ending at Puget Sound with views of the Olympic Mountains and islands in the Puget Sound. Since this does go down to the Sound and then back up, it's rated a 2A, but the uphill is very gradual. We then finish up with a walk through a nearby neighborhood and by the original site of Fort Nisqually.
Pets are fine with leash and cleanup. After we register at Infrati Park, we'll drive to the city hall area to park. AVA event Y0193.
This walk is hosted by the Capitol Volkssport Club. Everyone is welcome but everyone must sign the waiver to participate. IVV participants will pay $3.00 and we suggest a donation of $3.00 for other participants. Donations help the club with the costs of putting on these walks.
