Walk along the waterfront and creek trail in Des Moines 5K/11K

The route takes you through the marina, Des Moines Creek Waterfront Park, and the Des Moines Creek Trails. You will walk on sidewalks, road shoulders, and paved & dirt trails. This is an 11k (6.8 miles) walk rated 2B, which means fairly significant hills and some non-pavement surfaces. There is also a 5k (3.1 miles) option.

Arrive early as the walk starts promptly at 10 am. Use on-street parking.

Everyone is welcome, but everyone must sign the waiver to participate. This walk is hosted by the Sea Tac Volkssport Club. The club has costs to put on these walks, so we ask for a donation. IVV/AVA credit is available at the customary fee $4.00.
