Thursday morning group walk in downtown Tacoma

Come walk with us! Arrive early as the walk starts promptly at 10 am.

This is an 11K walk (6.8 mile). Gradual hills and a couple of very short steep hills (up and down) mostly on paved surfaces. You will pass many of Tacoma's famous and historical sites, including three museums and the train station. There is also a 5K (3.1 mile) option. Strollers and wheelchairs may have some difficulty. Well-behaved, leashed dogs permitted with owner clean up, but dogs not permitted in Curran Coffee. Club members do not usually sign up using Meetup, but you can expect between five and 10 club members on a Thursday walk.

This walk is hosted by the Capitol Volkssport Club. Everyone is welcome, but everyone must sign the waiver to participate. The walk course is owned by a different club, so there is a $3 per participant fee. Cash only.
