Thursday morning group walk along the Gig Harbor Waterfront

Come walk with us! Please arrive early to allow time to register as the walk starts promptly at 10 am. Be prepared to pay toll eastbound (toward Tacoma) on the Tacoma Narrows Bridge.

The walk is on sidewalks and paved surfaces. The 10K (6.2 mile) is rated moderately easy (small hills) and goes past the historic museum, numerous parks, viewing point, shops, and restaurants. There is a 5K (3.1 mile) option that is flat along the waterfront. Well-behaved, leashed dogs welcome with owner cleanup.

This walk is hosted by the Capitol Volkssport Club, but the walk is owned by a different walking club that charges $3 for this walk. Everyone is welcome, but everyone must sign the waiver to participate. Club members do not usually sign up using Meetup, but you can expect about five club members on a Tuesday walk.
