Gig Harbor Historic Waterfront 5K & 10K Walk

This walk is nice and easy along the waterfront. Walk on sidewalks past a museum, visitor's center, numerous parks with restrooms, viewing points, shops, eateries, lovely older homes, marinas, and for those with a thirst, the famous Tides Tavern.

Arrive early as the walk starts promptly at 10 am. The walk is 10K (6.2 miles) or 5K (3.1 miles). Both are rated 1A for flat, even footing.
Dogs OK with leash and cleanup, of course. No dogs in buildings.

Everyone must register before the walk. IVV credit is $3.00. Guests are always welcome. A suggested donation of $3 is suggested to help support volkssport activities.

Directions:
3119 Judson St., Gig Harbor
North or Southbound I-5; Exit 132 onto SR16/Bremerton. Continue across Narrows Bridge to Gig Harbor Wollochet Dr./Pioneer Way. Turn RIGHT on Pioneer Way towards downtown. Right on Judson St. West Marine will be on your left. Please park along the street. Eastbound SR 16. Exit on Wollochet Dr./Pioneer Way. Turn LEFT on Wollochet which will become Pioneer Way. Proceed to start same as Westbound.
